The orphanage resides in a place where the neighbors typically keep to themselves. Despite this, Pastor R started two worship services a week at their home. To their surprise, people started coming!
They don’t have a building. But, they do have a home with outside space, so they decided to use it to share the Gospel.
The Lord is clearly working through the orphanage to reach their community. We can’t wait to see what he does! Keep reading to learn more about Pastor R’s outreach.
Pastor started worship services outside of the orphanage
Pastor R said that when he started the services, he thought it would just be for their own family. After all, there are 17 kids in the home. But, it was clear that the community was interested in participating.
At first, families were sending their kids to the service. Now entire families are showing up for service to worship together and hear the teaching of God’s word.
Praise God for the work he’s doing in their community!

Right now we’re asking you to help us raise the remaining $17,000 we need to pay for rent.
In Haiti, they have to pay for rent all at once for the entire year. This is different than what we’re used to in the U.S. where we pay monthly.
The benefit of paying it all at once is that it’s done after we raise the money and give it to the landlord.
The stressful part about paying it all at once is that it’s a lot of money!
