Support Orphans: Join Us This Giving Tuesday

When we look around the world we see destruction, poverty, and overall a lot of turmoil. It can rock even the hardest of hearts. Witnessing turmoil around the world is difficult, especially when you feel helpless.

Keep reading to learn how you can join us in loving others well.

We have an eternal hope: the Gospel of Jesus Christ

As Christians, we know about the destruction in the world due to the fall. This happened when sin entered the world. We will experience the effects of sin. This will continue until Jesus comes back again and makes a new heaven and new earth.

We are not called to just sit back. We shouldn’t simply watch people experience these devastating things. We are called to love them. We should care for them like Jesus did.

We are called to care for them. This includes practical ways like praying for them. We can also pray with them. Our main goal is telling them about the good news of Jesus Christ.

Giving Tuesday: an opportunity to support orphans in Haiti

Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity for organizations to garner more support to continue the good work they’re doing.

When you give to our organization your money goes directly to our partner orphanage in Haiti to pay for:

  • Rent (still need $17,500/$20,000 – this is our greatest need)
  • School (still need the last $4,000 for this school year’s tuition)
  • Transportation ($5,000 for a vehicle)

As a small organization, we have one focus: to support the orphanage with their basic needs. This support allows the kids to focus on being kids. We want them to flourish as citizens of Haiti and Heaven.

Temporary sacrifice with an eternal impact

Uplift Haiti, Inc. supports the work that Pastor R. and his wife, A. are doing to care for the kids at the orphanage. We support them so they can focus on the daily task of caring for the kids. They can take care of the home, disciple them, and love them as Jesus does.

Give today and know that your donation is helping many kids flourish as citizens of Haiti and Heaven.
