We are constantly amazed at how well the Lord provides for his children, (Matthew 7:7). We should not be surprised, because he’s promised to provide and protect his children. But, we’re human and we need reminders of God’s goodness.
An orphanage in Haiti: a gift from God
We often feel like we’re asking for the impossible. Then the Lord always provides exactly what we need. This reminds us that NOTHING is impossible if it’s the Lord’s will!
Right now our big question is how will we raise the money for rent? Where will the remaining $17,500 for rent come from in less than two months?
We know that our organization, Uplift Haiti, Inc., can’t make anyone donate. Only the work of the holy spirit can soften someone’s heart to give.
Our job is to inform you of the circumstances that Pastor R. and the orphanage are facing. Then we let the Lord do the rest.
Which is good news! The work of the Holy Spirit is greater than us!
We know God is faithful. He loves our brothers and sisters in Haiti more than we do. He is working all things together for His good.
How you can help the orphanage keep their house in 2025
We want to share three examples of God’s faithfulness. There are also three ways you can help us raise the remaining $17,500 for rent BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
Three examples of God’s faithfulness:
- In 2016, Jesse first told Pastor Mike about the need of a couple caring for orphans in Haiti. The church was able to raise enough money to buy beds for all of the kids. They provided school for them and began to donate monthly to support them with basic needs.
- In 2020, God protected them from getting sick. He provided for their needs even when there was not much available in Haiti.
- In 2022, God provided the money for the orphanage to move to a safer part of the country. It was no small amount of money. One week after they moved gangs came looking for them! God protected them while they were in a dangerous part of the country. God also provided for them to go to safety!
Three ways you can help us raise $17,500 for rent before Christmas:
- Join us in thanking God for his faithfulness. We ask him to use his children to provide the money for rent before Christmas!
