Without an education, kids don’t have many options for a successful future.
But, with an education their future opens up with many possibilities that utilize the skills God has given them, provides for them, and is an opportunity to serve their community in Haiti.
At Uplift Haiti, Inc., we are passionate about sending all of the kids in the orphanage to school every year so they can continue building a path for their future without disruption.
The first reason we care so much about supporting the orphanage financially so they can attend school is that as Christians, we are called “to visit orphans and widows in their affliction,” (James 1:27), and to “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. To show hospitality,” (Romans 12:13).
The second reason we care so much about supporting the orphanage so they can attend school is because we want the kids to have the best opportunity to flourish as citizens of Haiti and Heaven.
