As we reflect on the past month and look towards the next, we want to pause and give you an update on the needs at OMFCA, how donors to Uplift Haiti, Inc. can help ease or eliminate certain burdens they are facing, and our prayer requests. We will update our needs and prayer requests monthly.

Needs
Increased Budget
We need financial donations to offset the increased budget from recently accepting 5 children that lost their parents to the earthquake that hit Haiti in August.
Monthly Donors for Monthly Expenses at OMFCA
We need new monthly donors to commit to give financially: this money goes directly toward the monthly expenses for OMFCA which covers food, utilities, water, etc. Currently, OMFCA only has enough money each month for everyone to have 2 meals a day, and 1-2 outfits per person. This is not the level of care we want for the children, Pastor Romain or Agnes at OMFCA. We want to be able to provide them with enough money a month to feed everyone 3 meals a day, and the kids to have minimal 3-4 outfits, and shoes that fit! These are things that many take for granted in the United States, and we want to provide these basic necessities to OMFCA, as these are basic necessities, but in Haiti, they are not…

Church or Group Partnerships for Sponsorship of Ministry Need
We are actively searching for new church and group partnerships to sponsor ministry needs such as: annual rent expense, medical needs, annual educational expenses, and more! These are large annual expenses that, if sponsored, would allow us to focus on growing the Scholarship Fund, which allows us to meet our long-term goal of providing funding for the young adults at OMFCA to attend Universite or learn a Trade to begin a business.

Our Church or Group wants to Partner with Uplift Haiti, Inc.
Scholarship Fund
The long-term goal of the partnership between Uplift Haiti, Inc. & OMFCA is to raise the children at OMFCA according to God’s word in a family environment, with access to K-12 education and eventually the ability to learn a Trade to start a business or attend Universite!
The purpose of creating this partnership wasn’t to provide financially for their daily, basic necessities, but due to the heightened civil unrest, gang violence, unstable government and COVID-19, it has been nearly impossible for OMFCA to earn any money to be self-sufficient, so we have stepped in to support OMFCA during these difficult times!
Our hope is that eventually, OMFCA will become self-sufficient through running a business, and we would help grow the Scholarship Fund for when the young adults graduate their high school equivalent.

Prayer Requests
- Peace, discernment and strength for Pastor Romain & Agnes as they raise the children
- Peace, strength and a sense of acceptance for the new children that are dealing with trauma from losing their parents and being in a new place with new people
- Peaceful, welcoming and loving spirit for the children that were originally at OMFCA as they welcome in the new children.
- Safety and health for all of OMFCA and all of Haiti!
- That the Lord would open people’s hearts to our brothers & sisters in Haiti and commit to financially supporting OMFCA as a donor to Uplift Haiti, Inc.
